When going into a business, we don’t ask our self the ‘’why’’, we don’t ask our self the ‘’what’’ and the where? Because X and Y, are successful, so you think success will be yours as well. This is not true. There should be reasons Why you going into that kind of business, something should fascinate you in the line of that particular business.
What is your interest in the business? What will be your gain? What will be at stake in the business? What and what should I do, to help me become successful in this business? The kind of persons or people you should employ really matters a lot, aside from money; what else should be sacrifice for the growth of this business? Did you think about time?
Giving up on personal desire? And anything that will sap you?
The business location plays a very vital role in your success basin. (Success basin contains all your strategies and goals) We go into business without having a knowledge and understanding of the needs of the people. If your product is not needed in an area, you are a total failure. Give the right product to the right people: those that needs your product are the right people, don’t go to the wrong people with the right product, and vice versa.
This is not for neophyte,
It’s for you and me.
I walk into a boutique, and the sales clerk ask me, who are you? What! What kind of a place is this? I ask, he responded a Boutique, I ask, and what are you guys doing in a boutique? He answered, we sell clothing, and then I said thank you to the young man. Have you seen the problem between the sales clerk and the owner of the boutique? The right person was not employed, that’s the owner’s fault. There was no good relationship from the salesclerk.
So many of us want to go into business without knowing what business is. The word business; involves company and company is not, one person’s affair. This is where business plus relationship comes in. Business has to do with different kind of behavior and characteristic, in other to suit its definition. There should be a code for everything; in business: Language, clothing and style.
LANGUAGE:
So many of us need to school our feeling, whiles we deal with business associate: supplier, employee and consumers. I am not saying that you should toyed with your business; what I am trying to say is, build a good relationship with this group of people I just mention above.
ALMOST ALL OUR SORROW CAN BE TRACED BACK TO RELATIONSHIP WITH WRONG PEOPLE, AND OUR JOY TO RELATIONSHIP WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE………………….John C. Maxwell.
You should have a constructive and respectful language whiles dealing with the above mention group of persons. Learn to put your emotion in control when dealing with people, for some are very sensitive.
CLOTHING
Our business associate will trust and respect us when we dress to suit our profession, because you will be address as you dress. For e.g. you don’t dress with chains round your neck and attend to someone in a corporate office, or you don’t wear beyond your marriage ring in your finger to attend to a Clint who wants services.
STYLE
I bought this from him just because of the way he spoke with me, he does his business with happiness, full of smiles and cheerfulness. You need to be known for a style, and you will be able to persuade them with your goods.
RELATIONSHIP PULL BUSINESS
Relationship is all about management; you manage people, so in business you are called to manage as well. For you to be trusted you need to know them (i.e. those you manage) and they need to know you too. Business without a good relationship with people outside and inside will fail, sooner or later. The basin carrier determines what happens to the business, for he is the anchor man. Instead of questions like ‘’who are you’’, it should be: You are welcome, what can I give you? We have this and that, this will be nice with you, that will be better with your wife, and this will be good with your son, just have a try.
I personally, when I see that you don’t only have interest with me alone but with my family also, I will go into business with you. Just have a good relationship strategy, and you will succeed.
